Judy Reyes, Carla on Scrubs, has surgery after fracturing pelvis
Judy Reyes, who portrays nurse Carla Espinosa on Scubs had to have surgery after fracturing her pelvis in a fall at her home.
Her rep, Monique Ward, commented on the fall to People Magazine.
“She had surgery to repair it on Thursday. She didn’t realize it was as bad as it was and still went to work. Once there, she realized she needed medical treatment. She went to a hospital from the set.”
Scrubs will rework scenes for Judy as well as film some while she recovers. She will be requiring crutches for six weeks while her pelvis heals.
